Voluntary handler ID · Serving US handlers · est. 2020

Walk in.
Show the card.
Done explaining.

The first 10 seconds at the door decide your whole visit. Our ID card answers the questions before they get asked, without a word about your disability.

Under the ADA, a business may only ask two questions about your service dog. A clean card and a calm answer settles both in seconds, so your ice cream never melts while a stranger interrogates you at the checkout.

$39 one-time · no renewals, ever · digital ID active at checkout · 30-day money-back guarantee

A voluntary handler tool

Not legally required, not a government registry, and not affiliated with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Department of Justice, or any federal agency. The card grants no access rights; only your dog's training does, and we say that up front because every other registry hides it.

ADA Service Dog ID Card, a real PVC photo card with NFC chip, QR code, and registration number

No more grocery-store interrogations

"My ice cream was melting and someone wanted to interrogate me." The number one reason handlers carry ID.

Travel without the hassle

TSA, hotels, rideshare. They are not lawyers. A clear card ends the conversation faster than reciting the ADA verbatim.

Walk in anywhere with confidence

For handlers with PTSD, anxiety, or invisible disability, the card is not proof. It is armor against the 12th stranger of the day.

Live demo

This is what a business sees when they scan a card.
The link self-destructs in 60 seconds.

Every other US registry hands out permanent verification URLs that anyone can bookmark, share, or sell. We took the opposite path: each scan of your card creates a fresh signed link that dies in 60 seconds, so a saved copy can never re-verify your dog.

  • A fresh link on every scan. No link works twice.
  • Every page carries a per-scan watermark and a live countdown.
  • Detected capture attempts are logged and you get an email with the forensic trail.

Watch the timer in the phone tick down from 60. When it hits zero the page locks and the verifier must rescan your physical card. Your data is visible for one minute, then it is gone.

Honest note: no website can fully prevent a screenshot. Ours deters it, fingerprints it, and logs it for your audit trail.

For business owners scanning
Under the ADA, you may legally ask 2 questions only:
  1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
  2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

You may not ask about the handler's disability, demand documentation, or require this card.

How we compare

Most registries sell you a number in a database. We do four things differently.

What matters ADA Service Dog A typical US registry
Verification Live link that expires in 60 seconds, watermarked per scan. A screenshot proves nothing. A permanent database lookup that looks the same to anyone holding a saved screenshot.
Honesty "Voluntary, not required, grants no rights" in the hero of every page. The disclaimer is buried in the footer, if it's there at all.
Price $39 one-time, never renews. No fake strike-throughs, no countdown timers. Kits priced against a permanent "was" number you were never going to pay.
Track record A real print facility shipping 20,000+ cards a year on Amazon since 2020. Often a website and a payment form, with reviews you can't trace.

Sourced, fair, and we list where they're genuinely better too. Verify any competitor's current prices yourself.

Honest answers

Every question you landed here with, answered straight.

Including the ones other registries hope you won't ask.

Is this an official US service dog registry? +
No. There is no official US service dog registry under the ADA, and anyone telling you otherwise is misleading you, including any competitor. We are a voluntary handler identification platform, and we chose to lead with that answer because it is the truth.
Does the card grant my dog access rights? +
No. Only your dog's training grants access rights under the ADA. The card is a convenience tool that ends conversations faster, but it confers nothing legally. The ADA gives you the right; the training is the proof.
If registration isn't required, why do handlers carry the card? +
Because the law being on your side doesn't stop the 12th stranger of the day from challenging you. Store managers, hotel clerks, and drivers aren't lawyers, a clean card with a live QR verification ends the conversation in seconds, without you saying a word about your disability. It's not proof. It's peace.
What can businesses legally ask me? +
Only two questions: (1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? (2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? They cannot ask about your disability, demand documentation, or require your dog to demonstrate. The calm two-line answer: "Yes, required because of a disability. Trained to [the task]." That's all the law requires of you.
What exactly do I get for $39? +
A one-time payment, never renews, for the full digital toolkit: your dog's digital ID page, a live QR verification profile any business can scan, your state's specific rules, scan logging, and the AI ADA Coach (50 questions/day). Want the printed PVC card in your wallet too? That's $69 one-time with the holder and tracked US shipping included.
Do I need a doctor's letter or "certification" first? +
No. The ADA lets you self-assert your dog's training, no doctor's note, no test, no certificate. We will never sell you an ESA letter or a "certification", because under the ADA those things don't exist. Registration takes about ten minutes.
How fast do I get it? +
Your digital ID and verification profile are active the moment checkout completes. Printed cards are produced at our own facility and arrive by tracked mail, typically within 7-10 business days, US-wide.
What if it doesn't work out? +
30-day money-back guarantee on every one-time plan, and Monthly Flex cancels anytime from your dashboard. Email a real human at hello@adaservicedog.com and we'll sort it.
